About Hakone Gora Park
- Is the park wheelchair accessible?
- See here.
- Can we bring pets to the park?
- Pets must be on a leash at all times. They are not allowed in indoor facilities and in the HAKUUN-DO tea garden.
- Can we re-enter the park?
- You can re-enter the park on the same day or the next day. Please present your receipt at the entrance.
- Do we have to pay park entrance fees to take part in CRAFTHOUSE workshops?
- Yes. Please pay at the entrance.
- Are meals available in the park?
- Yes!
There are 2 eateries in the park: Cafe PIC, whose speciality is curry, and ISSHIKIDO, which serves beautiful sandwiches.
CRAFTHOUSE
- Can children take part in the workshops?
- Glass blowing : minimum age 4
Lampwork beads : minimum age 6
Kiriko glass engraving : minimum age 11
Pottery wheel : minimum age 11
Any other workshop is available with adults. - Are reservations necessary?
- Yes, we recommend making reservations in advance. Please use the reservation system on the official HAKONE CRAFTHOUSE website (external reservation site). For groups of 10 or more, a reservation form from the website must be submitted in advance. Note that reservations are not accepted by phone.
- Can I make a reservation on the day of the event?
- Yes, as long as seats are available on the day. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis at the CRAFTHOUSE. Note that reservations are not accepted by phone.
- Can we go outside while we are waiting?
- Yes.
Please present your receipt at the entrance. - Can we take our work home with us?
- Yes, except blown glass and ceramics!
Blown glass will be sent to you at a later date as it takes time to cool down.
We will send ceramic pieces after they have dried and been fired.
We will take good care of your items and hope you will look forward to receiving them.
